ACHIEVEMENT

INFLUENCER

PROGRAM

ONGB aims to inspire young people and give them hope that they have a bright

future ahead of them. With the support of their families, friends and the whole school community, it ispossible for them to achieve academic and social success.

To accomplish this, ONGB has launched the Achievement Influencer Program (AIP), an internship

program that will connect high school seniors to a team of highly-skilled professionals who are

committed to promoting positive youth development and nurturing student achievement. High school seniors who are selected to participate in this internship program will receive up to $500 monthly stipend, totaling $4000 for the school year.

This program is designed to support high school seniors and their families. The goal is for the seniors to sharpen hard and soft skills, prepare them for the workplace, cultivate a strong culture of learning, foster a connected community for young scholars, and most importantly, provide seniors with an opportunity to become influential leaders on their school campus and beyond.

High school seniors in underserved communities often face a myriad of challenges that hinder their ability to succeed academically and socially. From financial struggles and disengagement to a lack of mentorship and career readiness, these barriers prevent students from reaching their full potential. Without intervention, these obstacles can lead to poor attendance, reduced academic performance, and limited opportunities for future success.

Lack of Motivation for At-Risk Seniors

Many high school seniors struggle with consistent school engagement and lack motivation to excel academically and socially.

Limited Access to Mentorship

Students often lack access to professional role models who can inspire and guide them toward success.

Insufficient Career and Workplace Readiness

Seniors are frequently unprepared with the necessary hard and soft skills for the workplace and post-graduation opportunities.

Disconnected School Communities

Many students feel isolated from their school community, leading to disengagement and decreased attendance.

Financial Barriers

Families face economic challenges that make it difficult for students to prioritize academic success over other responsibilities.

Achievement Influencer Program (AIP)

The Achievement Influencer Program (AIP) is a paid internship initiative designed to inspire, equip, and support high school seniors who face challenges engaging in school. This program connects seniors to a network of highly-skilled professionals committed to nurturing student achievement and fostering leadership.
